Nuevos tracks Andinos con sonidos del Altiplano. Composición y Produccion Musical

Les quiero presentar este nuevo álbum que creamos en conjunto con la gente de Melodie. Sobre música andina. 

¿Qué es la música andina? para quienes no conocen la música andina es música de la región de los andes sudamericanos. Más precisamente de la región del norte de Argentina, norte de Chile, Bolivia, Perú y algunas cosas de Ecuador, Colombia y Venezuela también. 

Este álbum más específicamente está enfocado en lo que se llama música andina del altiplano, que es esta región de aquí.

Es una región que culturalmente es muy fuerte, tiene una identidad fuertísima con costumbres muy locales, muy antiguas, de pueblos milenarios. Musicalmente también, por supuesto. 

Este álbum intenta reflejar un poco esa sonoridad del altiplano, algunos de sus sonidos más característicos y sus ritmos. 

Hay instrumentos característicos que le dan esa sonoridad. Muchos son aerófonos, es decir instrumentos de viento. 

Este instrumento se llama Quena. Lo conseguí en una gira por Perú, en un pueblo cerquita de Cusco hace ya unos 16 años ! (guau). Me gustó porque tiene una madera especial, más oscura que las quenas tradicionales, y además tiene un sonido más opaco. 

Otro instrumentos que están en el disco son: zampoña, siku, charango, ronroco, bombo legüero, caja andina, ocarinas, pezuñas, y muchos mas 

Y dentro de los muchísimos ritmos andinos, en el disco se pueden escuchar huaynos, carnavalitos, sayas, bailes, y hay algunas fusiones también que suenan muy interesantes. 

Desde la composición la búsqueda fue tener diferentes texturas, diferentes ritmos, diferentes intensidades, energías, Para que la música pueda ser usada en diferentes contextos, para diferentes cosas. 

Algunas de las canciones tienen estructuras más simples, otras tienen más segmentos, más partes. 

Hay climas, hay melodías. 

Todo pensado desde lo que se genera en esas geografías, con esas energías. Y también para transportar esas sensaciones a otros contextos. 

Creo que son tracks que pueden modificar sensaciones, imágenes, movimientos. 

Así que no dejen de escucharlo, de utilizarlo, de conocer mas de este universo musical sudamericano. Ya esta disponible en la plataforma de Melodie!

I want to introduce you to this new album that we created together with the people at Melodie. It’s about Andean music.

What is Andean music? For those who don’t know, Andean music is music from the Andean region of South America. More precisely, from the region of northern Argentina, northern Chile, Bolivia, Peru, and some parts of Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela as well.

This album is more specifically focused on what is called Andean music from the Altiplano, which is this region here.

It’s a region that is culturally very strong, with a very strong identity and very local, very ancient customs, from millennia-old peoples. Musically as well, of course.

This album tries to reflect some of that sound of the Altiplano, some of its most characteristic sounds and rhythms.

There are characteristic instruments that give it that sound. Many are aerophones, that is, wind instruments.

This instrument is called a quena. I got it on a tour in Peru, in a town near Cusco about 16 years ago! (Wow). I liked it because it has a special wood, darker than traditional quenas, and it also has a more mellow sound.

Other instruments on the album are: zampoña, siku, charango, ronroco, bombo legüero, caja andina, ocarinas, hooves, and many more.

And among the many Andean rhythms, you can hear huaynos, carnavalitos, sayas, dances, and there are also some fusions that sound very interesting.

From the compositional stage, the goal was to have different textures, different rhythms, different intensities, different energies, so that the music could be used in different contexts, for different things.

Some of the songs have simpler structures, others have more segments, more parts.

There are moods, there are melodies.

Everything is conceived from what is generated in those regions, with those energies. And also to transport those sensations to other contexts.

I think these are tracks that can alter feelings, images, and movements.
